Phra Mahathat Rattana Chedi was enshrined in the temple to be the sanctuary for commemorating the Lord of Buddha. It is located in Ban Dan Subdistrict, Ban Dan District, Buriram Province. The structure of Phra Maha Chedi is a contemporary art with a height of 60 meters and there are 4 floors, the first floor is a multiple pavilion. The second floor is the act of meditation area. The third floor is ordinary hall, museum and the place of portraits that had well-behaved monks. And the last floor is the establishment of the relics that The Chairman of the Ecclesiastical of Siam Wong sect (the biggest sect in Sri Lanka) and Phra Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej Wimlaratana, the abbot of Sri Weluwanaram Temple, Sri Lanka who gave the Buddha's relics and Bud Phra Sri Maha Bodhi to Phra Khru Khem Khun Sophon (Luang Pu Chanram Khemsiri) in 2004. The Sri Maha Bodhi tree was planted behind Phra Mahathat Rattana Chedi in Wat Koh Kaew Thudongkhastan, It is a peaceful place. And there are many peacocks where is suitable for Buddhists who want to pay homage to the Buddha's relics or make merit and practice dharma.
